What is Faronics WINSelect?

    Faronics WINSelect is an application that allows administrators to configure the client devices to run only a restricted set of applications as opposed to allowing full access to the operating system to the user. WINSelect is commonly used in situations where;

    • The computers are being used for a single purpose such as a time clock, or a card catalog. 
    • The computers are being used for a limited number of applications that have been previously authorized.
    • The operating system needs to be locked down to prevent access to specific files, settings, or programs.

    WINSelect Standard is a standalone version of the software satiable for smaller deployments that are managed directly by the persons in charge of the computers, where the Enterprise version provides remote management for larger deployments.
