What is Data Igloo?

    Faronics Data Igloo is a utility that can be used to easily map user data to a second drive or partition on your system to assist in retaining users data on a computer protected by Deep Freeze. Common use cases for this utility include; 

    • Mapping user profiles so that documents and settings can be retained across reboots. 
    • Mapping registry entries to allow application settings to be retained between reboots. 
    • Moving application data to a second volume to allow it to be retained. 
    The KB articles in this document are specific to the on-premise version of Data Igloo that is managed on the local machine.
