- Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)
- VNC
- Faronics Remote Pro
Microsoft Remote Desktop allows for administrators to take control of a client device using an option that is natively supported and built into any version of Windows aside from the home editions of Windows. This method of connection does not provide a method of control that allows an administrator to share the screen with the end user.
VNC Connections require that a VNC client and sever be installed on the devices being used and allow administrators to share the screen with the user and view actions being taken by the user while logged in.
Faronics Remote Pro is an optional service that customers can purchase as part of their Faronics Deploy subscription that provides remote control in a browser based client that requires no additional third party software to be installed.
